Toul Meditech AB achieves certification according to ISO 13485:2003
The Swedish innovation company Toul Meditech AB received certification approval from the notified body SEMKO Certification AB, part of the Intertek group, on the 30th of October for its Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 13485:2003.
The Quality Management System covers design, production and marketing of laminar airflow units including sterile accessories in order to remove bacteria carrying particles and to reduce the infection risk in the operation environment.

A major breakthrough for Toul Meditech AB in Italy
The Swedish innovation company, Toul Meditech AB, has received its biggest order so far to one sole hospital. The client is a well-reputed Italian hospital who will install 15 TOUL 300 Instrument tables and 2 TOUL 400 Mobile units from Toul Meditech AB in their surgical theatres.

60 times cleaner instruments if placed on an instrument table with integrated laminar airflow
Post operative infections within health care add big costs to society every year as well as causing patients to suffer. Several scientific reports have found evidence that many infections in the OR environment are due to unclean instruments that have been contaminated by airborne bacteria carrying particles.
Toul Meditech AB, a Swedish innovation company, has recently developed an instrument table that generates ultra clean laminar airflow over the table to protect instruments and sterile goods from the harmful downfall of particles. A recent study found that by using an instrument table from Toul, with integrated laminar airflow, the occurrence of particles was 60 times less than on a regular instrument table.
