A major breakthrough for Toul Meditech AB in Italy
The Swedish innovation company, Toul Meditech AB, has received its biggest order so far to one sole hospital. The client is a well-reputed Italian hospital who will install 15 TOUL 300 Instrument tables and 2 TOUL 400 Mobile units from Toul Meditech AB in their surgical theatres.
The mobile units with its integrated airflow has been developed and patented by Toul Meditech AB and has successfully been in use since 2003 in Scandinavia.
The units generate an ultra clean and horizontal laminar airflow that can be directed onto the surgical wound and instruments. The airflow works as a barrier which reduces the presence of bacteria carrying particles and by that the risk for post-op infections.
